Kristy Scanland’s Chicago murals and faux finishes are known for the energy and passion that she infuses into them and for their ability to express a wide range of styles, from classical to modern to experimental. She has studied under mural artists, Gabrielle Benton and Roger Dolan, and faux finishing artist, Sherrie Border. Under their mentorship, Kristy developed skills in working with a variety of spaces from private residential homes to full building exteriors. This experience has given her the ability to work intuitively, considering both the client’s particular space and aesthetic preferences. She delights in exciting people’s minds with beautiful, elegant styles that possess enduring quality.
